We use a fantastic online learning journal called Tapestry in Ducklings, which we use to record your child's learning. Observations are uploaded by staff via an iPad at school. When an observation for your child is uploaded, you will receive an email notification at which point you can check on your own device and view the observation yourself. You can also upload observations of what your child has been up to at home for us to share with the children.
Another fantastic aspect of Tapestry which we use is uploading videos to support the learning of phonics sounds at home. Each time a new sound is introduced, a short video is added to go alongside this. These videos are great for parents and children to watch together so that children's knowledge of sounds can be further embedded, and so parents are aware of the correct pronunciations of all sounds too. Below is an example of one of the videos, enjoy!
